My background is rooted in sport, movement, and performance.
With an undergraduate degree specialising in Sports and Exercise Science, qualifications across swimming and personal training, and years of experience in endurance sport, I coach using a balance of science, practicality, and real-world experience.
I’ve competed in triathlons, sportives, and time trials, spent countless hours in pools and open water environments, and understand both the physical and mental side of training. But more importantly, I understand that not everybody entering these spaces feels confident straight away.
That’s why my coaching philosophy centres around creating welcoming, supportive environments that still deliver high-quality coaching and measurable progress.
Whether I’m coaching a nervous adult swimmer, leading a high-energy spin class, helping someone return to strength training, or supporting an athlete preparing for endurance events, the aim is always the same:
To help people feel stronger, more capable, and more confident in themselves.

My background is centred on strength and conditioning, athletic development, and performance enhancement.
With a BSc (Hons) degree in sport and exercise science, an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science due for completion in September 2026, and ongoing work towards UKSCA accreditation, I combine evidence-based practice with experience gained across a variety of sporting environments.
Over the past several years, I have worked with university athletes, rugby players, gymnasts, netball players, and recreational clients, helping individuals improve performance, recover from injury, and develop the physical qualities needed to perform at their best.
My experience includes supporting return-to-play athletes with Plymouth Albion RFC, delivering strength and conditioning provision within Plymouth Marjon University's Sport Performance programme, and working with BUCS teams across the 2025/26 season. Alongside this, I have spent the last two years coaching clients online and in person, helping people of all abilities become stronger, more resilient, and more confident in their training.
I believe effective coaching goes beyond sets and repetitions. My approach focuses on building strong relationships, creating supportive environments, and delivering training that is practical, progressive, and tailored to the individual.
Whether supporting an athlete returning from injury, preparing a team for competition, or helping someone take their first steps in the gym, the goal is always the same:
To help people move better, perform better, and realise their potential.
